Mum has written her first poem, while in the Norfolk Broads! She texted it to me and here it is (with permission):
Our sparse wake
agitates the reeds
standing sentinel
along the river’s edge.
Cheek-by-jowl,
the slight fluid flow
jostles the bank guardian.
We hear the slightest of rustles
above the tapping of the engine
as we pass by.
