Daniel Eltringham
Daniel Eltringham is a writer, bookseller, scholar, translator, editor and teacher. Co-owner of East Bristol Books (EBB, like the tide), Daniel is often to be found at the shop on Old Market, Bristol. He also teaches literature at Bath Spa University.
Daniel has published prize-winning critical books and essays, poetry, translations, and collaborations with artists. Poetry is central, but he also writes about culture, art, politics and history. He is especially interested in cultural landscapes, ecology and environment, particularly in the UK and the US, Latin America, and Spain.
With Leire Barrera, Daniel co-edits the (very) small Girasol Press, which explores book arts and experimental approaches to translation. He enjoys collaborating on projects, organising events and readings, curating exhibitions, and leading workshops.
